The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District has partnered with several recruitment agencies to fill temporary positions to help with the COVID-19 response in San Francisco, San Diego and Houston. The Community Health Worker # 1 position will provide information on CO VID 18 prevention and testing to marginalized communities through visits to nonprofit faith communities, community health centers, schools, hospitals, and other health care providers.

The epidemiologist (position II-3) will carry out case studies, including identification of contacts, completion of papers and tracking of persons who show symptoms. Conducts interviews, conducts a 14-day follow-up to ensure the person has recovered and works with the data management team to ensure an appropriate flow of information. The unit of epidemiologists (1) will be responsible for the quality control of the data, the monitoring of the data and the return of the results to the institution. They will provide information about the health system in communities, review infection control practices, ensure that databases are synchronised, coordinate with institutions to ensure that data is adequately collected and shared, and track in a timely manner for 14 days to ensure that individuals have recovered and carry out quality control data.
