Carson Elementary School Reviews

My son is starting his 4th year at Carson (as a 3rd grader) and my hat is off to all the administration and staff at this school. I truly believe that they care about whether or not my child is learning, about his safety, and I love that they are flexible enough to work with some of his behavior 'quirks' (nothing clinical -- he's just a social animal) without making him feel self conscious. I feel pretty well informed about classroom activiites and project deadlines. I'm also very impressed at the level of involvement of the parents both in volunteering in the classrooms and putting on the special events. GO COWBOYS!!

Carson Elementary is the best school around this area for sure. We are pleased with the teachers, awesome PTA and stellar administration. This school is far superior to the locals schools like Fernandez or Braun E.S. Your child will feel good going here and most of all they let them be kids and have fun while doing it. No robotic children here!

I love this school! I have had two children enrolled at Carson for three years. Their teachers have been great and MOST OF ALL the administration is WONDERFUL. Any concern that I have had (and there will always be concerns/issues at some point in any child's education) was IMMEDIATELY addressed. My children have enjoyed their experience!

We are blessed to be a part of this school! My child is currently in 2nd grade at Carson and we couldn't be more pleased with the administration, teachers, staff and parent involvement. We recently moved and we told our realtor that we only had one true requirement...to stay in the Carson boundary. Thanks to all of the hard working, dedicated staff and parent volunteers that make it so wonderful. We have 2 more children that will soon be Carson Cowboys and we are looking forward to it!

My child attended 1-5 at carson. It was a wonderful experance for her to grow in. The teachers had a open grade plan and would always willing to go that extra mile.

Carson is a wonderful place! The staff is very supportive, the children are challenged daily, and each student is treated with great respect. We bought our home specifically to keep our child in this school after renting for our first year in the area. If you are looking for the best of the best school for your kids, this is it!

We have moved here from Arizona, where their children are left behind. My child attended school there and was not given a strong start in her education. The staff and volunteers at Carson are wonderful.I'm proud to say my child is a Carson Cowgirl. They are doing a good job in educating our kids.

We just transferred to Carson Elementary and I have found the staff and the teachers very unfriendly. I have seen the office staff speak very rudely to students, and feel the teachers are not very good at keeping the parents involved with their children's education. The PTA is very involved, but doesn't make up for what the rest of the school is lacking.

I have had two children go through Carson. My youngest is now in 5th grade. The school has been well supervised throughout it's inception and the teachers are quality individuals. The only complaint is the overcrowded situations that have occurred due to heavy residential growth in this area. The school districts need to take growth into consideration when building all new schools. The 2nd year carson was open we had 5 portable building placed outside for classes.

Overcrowding and poor supervision were the reasons I withdrew my child from this school. It is impossible to provide four year olds with the enrichment that they need with twenty-two children per classroom.I
