Posted By: student Quality Score: 5 2009-07-08 “Stevenson Middle School. Wow. I wouldn't switch schools for anything. The school is clearly the best in the whole NISD. I hate to brag, but its true. Great and successful programs-athletics (many district champs), and orchestra & band ( almost always sweepstakes in UIL Comp). We have an amazing GT program. The teachers are pretty supportive :-). You find all kinds of people, and I'm sure any new student would fit into any of the groups there. It may be an old school, (well half) but thats what makes this school so special with its traditions and great memories, and fun atmosphere. My daughter had good teachers and enjoyed the sports and music programs. Overall this school has a great staff, but the learning enviorment wasn't great, as they were doing construction and took away alot of priveleges to the students such as a second elective as soon my child reached 8th grade. I would give it a 3 out 5.”
