“This is our first year with a student in Mrs Northrup's Pre-K class and a student in Ms Garza's Kinder class. We are so excited to have our children attend such a 'child oriented' school. Mrs. Northrup is outstanding and keeps the children interested. Our preK can hardly wait to go to school and literally jumps out of bed saying yippee, it's a school day. Thank you Ms Northrup. Ms Garza also keeps the kids challenged and focuses on parental cooperation with supportive practice work to be done at home reinforcing work done in class each day. All the office staff and other teachers seem to be 'on the same Page' with the children the focus. Thank you staff of Robert McDermott Elementary, for caring for our children and providing an instructive and learning environment filled with love.” This review was posted by a parent.

“The staff seems very involved with the students. If the Teacher can't take care of an issue, then the School Councelor is alerted (and the councelor moves with the scolastic year of students..... ie: the 4th grade councilor moves with the kids and is the 5th grade councelor the following year. If that isn't satisfactory, the Vice Principal tries to rectify the situation. In all, the whole staff works well together.” This review was posted by a parent.

“This is a wonderful school! My son was not challenged at his 1st 2 schools. Since arriving at McDermott he is an honor roll student. The teachers are involved and care about our children. The nurse is the most qualified school nurse I have ever known. Awesome job keep up the good work!” This review was posted by a parent.

“I am not a parent, first off. My name is Jessie and I was a former student at McDermott. Sometime in August, I started fifth grade and was very excited about it. Then came October, and I had to move away. I would have to say that I didn't really have a favorite teacher. All the teachers I had, Kinder through fourth, were awesome. And even though I didn't spend the whole year with my fifth grade teacher, Miss Bunn, I would still have to say that I think she was awesome too. This is Jessie hollerin' at you from Randallstown MD. MYVM (Miss You Very Much) -Jessie” This review was posted by a former student.
