Huebner Elementary School Reviews

My daughter went all the way through elementary here and my son is still there. We love the school. Very positive environment, great teachers, parents very involved. Many wonderful experiences for the kids.

My twins started Kindergarten this year, and we all love it. The entire staff is involved and care for the kids, and provide many ways for working parents to get active.

My two daughters have attended Huebner Elementary since Kindergarten. We love it! The teachers, administration and entire staff are awesome! They encourage parental participation and have a well-rounded curriculum. I have nothing but positive things to say!

Wonderful elementary school with strong principal and dedicated staff. Extremely valuable Gifted and Talented program for students who test in.

Great school with fantastic teachers and quality leadership. We are very happy here!

An excellent school with very active parent involvement. An excellent public school with the students' interest at heart.

Huebner Elementary is a great school.

My kids have attended Kindergarten and First Grade at Huebner, and I have been very impressed with the school and their teachers. They have a very good computer lab.

This school and district are not concerned with children with special needs, although they do the necessary procedures to stay within the law they patronized my husband and I when we tried to get all the help our child needed. It basically came down to the districts money and special education program 'qualification rules'. We do not reccomend this school or district.' So much for the 'No child left behind' moto.

This is a great school with a dedicated professional staff and very involved parents. The teachers use 'team' teaching, which bothered me at first for its conformity, but I've grown to like it in the three years we've been there, as it seems to bring out the best ideas for all of the students. Most of the teachers seem to truly love their job and the atmosphere through the school is very upbeat and positive. The PTA is very active and most of the teachers have lots of parent support and volunteers to help with their everyday needs, as well as for special events. Most of the students at this school are expected to be high achievers, so the curriculum moves quickly, and the kids learn things at a much earlier age than did their parents--except for handwriting. Since it's not tested, it seems to suffer.
