St. Paul Catholic School Reviews

My two boys also attended for several years. A big decline starting about three years ago. Very disorganized and the princiapal is not very truthful. lack of communication is a big problem and has been brought up to the pricipal many times and still has not been fixed. I fill that the the administration is not keeping the best interestof the students. please save your money. Many friends have left to other catholic schools and public schools and do not have the same problems. Its not money issue people pay go money yo attend a catholic school it comes down to the administration in charge.

My children have attended for several years. Recent decline, especially this year, I am withdrawing my children. Administration is not keeping the best interest of the students. Middle school curriculum is poor, students are not well prepared for continuing in a catholic high school. Many of the students who went on to catholic high school are required to take summer school as a condition of admittance. No one is listening at how rapidly this school is declining. Save your money, you get the same education and declipline at a public school for free.

This was my daughters first year at this school we will not be returning . Administration is poor, they lack communication and are very disorganized and not very truthful people. I am saddened because my daughter and I have met some good friends that will be missed.

My family and I will not be returning to St. Paul. My daughter will be moving on to High School, however, I have two other children of elementary age who will not return. From a Customer Service standpoint, we just did not get what we paid for - a quality education. Complaints and questions seem to fall on deaf ears, unless your child is involved in sports. I am saddened because I have met some very good families and my children some good friends.

My children excelled at St. Paul Catholic School. Aside from going on to successful academic and professional careers, they have maintained their relationship with Christ. This is one of the main reasons we enrolled them there in the first place. My wife and I understood our role as parents there and were willing to sacrifice all we needed to in order to help our children, faculty and administration succeed. We will continue to play an active and supportive role there and count on the prayers and love of the school community to foster a positive experience for the students of St. Paul. Parochial schools will never have the financial resources that public schools do and chances are that public schools will never again allow Christ to be visibly present on their campuses either. Parents and future parents, your positive support will help us to succeed. Peace&Love, Deacon Albert J. Sanchez

My oldest daughter has really excelled at St. Paul and my youngest who is in kinder is getting off to a good start thanks to Mrs. McQuade. I'd suggest that anyone who has an issue at the school to bring it forward preferably to the School Council so it can be addressed as soon as possible.

Very disappointed on the gradual decline of a once excellent program. It appears athletics are first priority and academics relegated to a secondary role.Leadership is poor, it is difficult to meet the principal-need to make appointments--and even harder to get a phone call returned. I have experienced this behavior in more than one occassion. I hope situation gets corrected for the next generation of students and parents. Disappointed parent.

I'm a graduate of St. Paul and have been a government attorney for 14 years. My wife is a graduate of St. Paul and has teaching and library science degrees. My oldest daughter is a graduate of St. Paul and is currently in nursing school. And my 6-year-old daughter is currently in 1st grade at St. Paul. St. Paul offers an excellent educational foundation for high school and beyond. The school community ties last a lifetime.

This school is going down fast. Administration is poor. Students are not getting the quality education that they are paying for! Very sad indeed!

The academics are ok for kinder thru 5th grade, but 6th, 7th, and 8th are really bad. My son used to go there until I realized what kind of academics they had, especially in science and math. The school is also a mess and they really don't have anything organized. Also, the extra curricular activities aren't that great, especially due to the fact that they only meet every other month.

The families are great and the teachers are great people. However there is poor leadership and organization. Great school if you are looking for a strong athletic program. Academics weak especially for the middle school. Students get good dose of discipline from coaching staff, if kids not involved in sports then there will be little structure and discipline.

I went to St Paul for 8 years and I wanted my son to go as well he did for 4 years I recently pulled him out and am trying public school just because of academics. I would love for him to return to what I called home, the school is great families are good, community as well but there are like someone else mentioned level of learning barriers. They are all taught at the same level when some need remedial and others need advanced. My son wasn't challenged enough and 2 of his 4 teachers recommended me moving him to public due to lack of resources at St Paul. It hurt to move him and I want to return him home But I have to do what is academically best for him.

My husband and I are very impressed with St. Paul school. The enthusiasm of both the faculty and parents is tremendously noticeable. This school is about as close to the way it was when I attended catholic school . great staff

The school is fine in the Kinder thru 5th grade. The upper grades 6th thru 8th grade are the ones lacking in education and the teachers are not up to date in the Math and Science areas. It is not the school for kids that want a challenge in education, the kids are taught all in the same level and speed.

I would recommend this school. Small environment, very caring staff, good academics.

Great structure and religious teachings. High quality of academics and excellent availability of extracurricular activities. Awesome level of parent involvement

St. Paul, although a great community school, lacks in academics, especially math. The turnover is somewhat consistently high but the moral environment is good.

St. Paul is an excellent school. The school centers on faith, character, and education. The teachers, parish, and administration work together for the betterment of their students. The students are respectful and hard working. Overall, great school!!!
